Update
Things have been very fast-paced since Krista, Mia, and I moved to Southern Ohio nearly seven months ago. Soon it will have been a year and that's hard to believe. It feels like only yesterday we were hanging out with friends from Third Avenue Baptist Church and I was reading books for class at Southern Seminary. Now we are focusing on ministry, teaching, and life in Ohio.
I have been serving on staff (part-time) at Bigelow Church in Portsmouth, OH and am currently teaching a class on The Worshiping Church which has proved to be beneficial for both me and (as far as I can tell) the members of our church. This fall will prove to be an exciting and life-changing time in the life of our body, so please continue to pray for me as I serve here.
Krista and Mia are doing wonderful. Krista has begun teachign Children's Desiring God (a new "program" for our church) and is enjoying it as much here as she did at Third in Louisville. Mia is going to be one year old next month, which is hard to believe. I think often about how we longed to get pregnant for that year and a half and couldn't, and what a wonder it is now that God has given us this beautiful little girl. Thank you to all who prayed and cried with us in that time.
We're looking forward to what God has in store for us in the months to come, and while we miss our friends at Third, we know our time there was training ground for what we are doing now!
